My Travel Essentials!

Hello my readers! I decided to do something different from fashion and show my travel essentials! This blog post is to give you an idea on what you should pack whenever your on vacation.  This doesn't include clothes this is just items I would bring on the airplane. I thought this would be a good idea because school is ending soon and it's almost Summer vacation. All pictures belong to me, as well as the items. If you have a question about a certain item please comment down below. I hope this post helps you out!

First off start with a bag. Such as a tote bag that is durable.
Use this tote bag to put your stuff inside. (:

For electronics I suggest you bring chargers/batteries if you ever
need to recharge your electronic device. Bringing headphones is
optional because they do hand out free headphones on the plane.
Sometimes the plane ride may get boring, so I suggest
bringing a book, crossword puzzles, tablet or a sketch
book to keep you occupied. If you want to bring a
tablet/electronic device I suggest charging it before
                                          the plane ride.(:

Sometimes my hair can get messy during the plane ride.
I'm not sure if that happens to other people but, it sure
happens to me. This is defiantly a great essential
especially for me.
Although I don't need all of these things for the plane.
I need most things for when I arrive at my destination.
I suggest bringing hand sanitizer to keep your hands
clean. And hand lotion just to keep your hands smooth
if its ever dry. I recommend you put everything into
a makeup bag.
Now you are done packing up ( well most of it ) for your
trip! :D

I hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks for reading my post!

I would love to reply to your comment. (: - Jade

Bloggers Spring Lookbook: Floral Prints

    A Little Introduction

Welcome to Bloggers Spring Look book! Grace ( a fashion blogger; her blog : thenextcoco.blogspot.com ) and I decided to do a Spring look book together! This look book will consist of D.I.Y's, reviews, outfits, and fashion tips! If you check out Grace's blog you will see the first part of the look book, CLICK HERE! The first part of the Spring look book is FLORAL PRINTS!

    Floral Prints!

Floral prints are great for Spring! Especially since the sun is always up ( most of the times ) and FLOWERS are blooming. If you have any floral pants/leggings, shirts, dresses or skirts it's time to take them out and create an outfit!  Floral prints may seem difficult to pair with but, not really. Floral prints always looks good with neutrals or a solid color that is not to bright but, soothing. Pastels also suit floral prints sometimes, depending on the color of the base of floral prints. Also don't forget about flats or sandals! It's time to put away your fall/winter boots and buy brand new flats! White/cream flats are the most wearable flats to buy in the Spring. if you want shoes for Spring/Summer I recommend sandals. Sandals are mostly for the Summer but, you can still where it in the Spring! Now time for the outfits! I put together two outfits to show some suggestions!

   Outfits!

   Spring Outfits!

Outfit #1 -  this outfit is very casual but, yet still kind of dressy/preppy. I made sure to add accessories to show you how to style with jewelry. A cream/neutral color shirt will be perfect with floral prints. If you look above I picked out a high-low cream muscle tee. If it is a bit cold in your area I recommend a light sweater that is appropriate for your weather. Of course floral print jeans had to be shown in this post. I really like the floral print on these jeans especially because of all the beautiful colors. The top really settles the pants making the perfect outfit.
Tip: Try not to match floral prints with other prints/patterns that may be distracting or too much.
White flats would be great for this outfit because it won't be too colorful. trust me white flats are your best friend in the Spring. Accessories! A bright scarf will bring more color onto the shirt making it less bland. Style your scarf the way you desire/want. Floral earrings will also be a cute accessory. Any gold/rose gold jewelry will be great for the Spring.

Outfit #2 - if you like to wear skirts and dresses in the spring this is a perfect outfit for you. On Polyvore I found this beautiful floral high-low maxi dress, that just needed to be in the post. I thought orange was a pretty color for the Spring. Sometimes pastels, and neutrals get to used in the Spring. Any floral dress will do, it doesn't have to be orange! Lace-up booties look great with maxi dresses and are such a trend. if your dress is a different color I recommend chestnut wedges. Accessories can be added if wanted. What I recommend is floral rings. Although it may match too much i think it still is cute. Gold leaf earrings are also a great essential, as well as a bracelet. Rose gold bracelets/jewelry are great for the Spring and have been trending a lot lately.

Thank you so much for reading my post! I hope this post gave you inspiration on changing your wardrobe. Please stop by next week for a new post! Comment down below what Grace and I should do next for our Spring look book! Also comment if you used my blog post to help you plan an outfit(: - Jade

Spring Look Book: Pastels & Lace

Pastel and lace is the perfect outfit to create. Lace and pastels go great together especially in the springtime. Lace is very floral and feminine. With pastel colors it'll settle down the outfit. Denim also looks good with denim and pastels. Denim, pastels, and lace is a must have in the springtime! To give you an idea on how to style your spring outfits I made a set on Polyvore!

This outfit is very casual but yet girly. I love pink pastel sweaters with cream lace skirts. Although it may be a bit warm in your area, you can still substitute! If you want to substitute I recommend a shirt that you can tuck into the skirt.  And add the lace skirt and flats to complete the outfit.  Make sure the flats match along with the sweater. (: Then your spring outfit is complete!

Thank you so much for reading and stay tune til next week! (: - Jade

D.I.Y: Polka Dot Jeans

MARC BY MARC JACOBS 'Lily' polka-dot skinny jean           Polka dot jeans are probably my favorite fashion piece for spring! Its easy to match and super chic. (: I think the best polka-dot jeans I've seen were by Marc Jacobs. Sadly its $295, a bit disappointing. Luckily it's really easy to make your own! So that means it's D.I.Y TIME! This D.I.Y is very cheap and inexpensive. Lets get started.
Here are the materials you are going to need:

  • a pair of jeans ( shorts if you prefer )
  • wooden pencil with an unused eraser
  • fabric paint
  • tape
Now that you have all your materials its time to lay out your shorts/jeans. Get your tape out and place it diagonal both ways left and right. Place tape all over the denim. Make sure to watch the video for more of a clear understanding. Then get your fabric paint and pencil. Dip the eraser of the pencil into the fabric paint and in between the tape create dots! Then let your jeans dry, and you are done. (:

I suggest you watch the video to understand more if your a bit confused! I hope you guys try this D.I.Y. Its really simple and easy, it'll also save you lots of money. Thank you so much for reading this post. (: - Jade

What's Better? : Hollister or Abercrombie?

Which one is better? Hollister and Abercrombie are very much alike especially since they are owned by the same people ( at the moment ). But, their perfume, clothes, and format of the store is almost exactly the same. I have to admit there are some differences but, not much. The question is which one is better. Abercrombie or Hollister? You will soon find out about how to make this decision.
 Abercrombie

*Making it's big start in 1892, Abercrombie has been a hit for teens. It has been around for 124 years. Founded by David T. Abercrombie and Ezra Fitch. Although they are trying to aim for consumers ages 18-22.  Abercrombie is actually quite expensive for it's fine-quality pieces.  It has many varieties such as sweaters, pants, sweatpants, perfume, tote bags, flip flops, hoodies, and many other fine pieces.  Abercrombie has lots of choices to choose from! Which is beneficial for new shoppers who will defiantly come back.

Hollister

Hollister began in 1922, and was established by John M. Hollister Jr. Targets consumers ages 14-18. The first store opened in July 2000 at Eastern Town Center in Columbus, Ohio. Sells lots of beach themed outfits such as shorts, tank tops, t-shirts, bathing suits, flip-flops, and etc,. During the winter and fall they also still sell sweaters, hoodies, jackets, etc,. Many pieces of clothing are fluorescent/neon or sometimes black, white, or grey. These clothes will be beneficial to wear in the Summer or Spring since their so bright. Has good quality and amazing sales. It sells a right amount of clothing for shoppers to chose from!

I think Hollister is better honestly. It almost as great quality as Abercrombie and it sells for cheaper. Hollister clothing has more designs are their shirts/stops which many girls like to wear. Also most of the cheapest items in Abercrombie are just plain tank tops while in Hollister they actually have a print on it. But, this is just my opinion! You can decide which is better, Hollister or Abercrombie. Take the poll on my blog please! I would like to see the results! (:
